With its well-regarded build and impressive features, the Apple laptop is among the most widely used computers in the world. From $999 to $6, thousands of people can buy one of these.
Although the Apple Store is not the best place to buy a laptop, it still offers deals on the devices that are usually only available during sales events. If you’re a teacher or student, these deals can mean a $150 savings on a brand new MacBook Air or a free pair of AirPods.
All current MacBooks have the Magic Keyboard, which was added to all of the current models in 2019. This new feature is a far better and more reliable keyboard than the one found in 2015.
The 1080-resolution camera found in the new MacBooks is a game-changer for those of us who regularly use video calls. Here are some tips on how to make the most of the new features.
If you’re looking for a larger screen, then the new 21.5-inch iMac with its upgraded processor and seven color options is the place to go. It’s also available in a 27-inch version with a built-in display.
Almost all Mac models have started using Apple’s M1 chips since the launch of the new generation of the devices in 2020. The M1 line is equipped with either a 64-bit or a 64-bit processor. It’s also faster than the previous generation’s chips.

Years ago, the Apple laptop was the favorite of everyone. It was incredibly thin and light, and it could last for years.
The Air’s low-res display and thin bezels were getting in the way of mainstream laptops. Fortunately, the brand new components were always updated.
The M1-powered Air doesn’t have vents, which means it’s quiet and doesn’t have fans. It only has two USB 3 ports, so most people will only need a couple of them.
The new MacBook Pro models have better displays and faster processing power, but they’re also more expensive than their predecessors.
The Apple MacBook Air is a great laptop for anyone who needs a full-fledged laptop. It’s also a good choice for people who are looking for a low-cost option for a variety of tasks.
I purchased the 8 core and 256 GB SSD version of the MacBook Air M1, as well as the 8 core CPU model. I traded in my old 12″ Macbook with the same processor and RAM.
The M1 has been my go-to laptop for a lot of reasons, including its portability and its large number of apps open. Unfortunately, I suffered from overheating issues while using it.
Since I wanted 512 GB of SSD storage, I went with the 8 core instead of the 7 core.
If you only use a laptop for basic web surfing & office work, then hold off on an upgrade until more apps are compatible with the M1. However, if you are someone who uses non-Apple apps that are not built for the M1, then hold off until more are available.
MacBook Pro 16-inch (2021)

- Apple M1 Pro or M1 Max chip for a massive leap in CPU, GPU, and machine learning performance
- Up to 10-core CPU delivers up to 2x faster performance to fly through pro workflows quicker than ever
- Up to 32-core GPU with up to 4x faster performance for graphics-intensive apps and games
- 16-core Neural Engine for up to 5x faster machine learning performance
- Longer battery life, up to 21 hours
The new 16-inch MacBook Pro is a true desktop replacement that’s got plenty of power. It’s a worthy successor to the great 17-inch MacBook Pro.
The 13-inch version of the Mac has the same ports and features the same Mini-LED display, but it also comes with a MagSafe power connection and a better webcam. Both are equipped with the new M1 Pro or Max chips.
The border around the display has gotten so thin that it’s no longer possible to fit a webcam in. This camera gets placed into an iPhone-like cutout at the top of the display, which is annoying at first but worth the tradeoff.
The Apple MacBook Pro 16GB with 2GB of RAM and an HDMI port is starting at $2,999. If you’re not planning on using these new features much, then this is a good alternative.
The new generation of MacBooks vs the old ones. These new models have better temperature results than the previous ones. In comparison, the old ones had been running at around 91 degrees Fahrenheit.
I’m a videographer and am always looking for ways to improve my skills. I use an i9 and it completely blows away anything I have used before.
MacBook Pro 14-inch (2021)

- Apple M1 Pro or M1 Max chip for a massive leap in CPU, GPU, and machine learning performance
- Up to 10-core CPU delivers up to 3.7x faster performance to fly through pro workflows quicker than ever
- Up to 32-core GPU with up to 13x faster performance for graphics-intensive apps and games
- 16-core Neural Engine for up to 11x faster machine learning performance
- Longer battery life, up to 17 hours
The new 14-inch MacBook Pro is a lot like the old models. From a distance, it looks like it’s a lot like the old ones. It has a bigger screen, better keyboard, and slimmer bezels.
Thinking of this as a replacement for the iPad Pro, the screen size jump from 13 to 14.2 inches. This is a Mini-LED display that’s basically a shrunken-down version of the iPad Pro.
The 14-inch M1 Pro has plenty of storage and features the same 64GB and 8TB options as the 16-inch model. However, it doesn’t come with the same processor and memory options.
If you’re a college student or a regular laptop user, this is a good deal. It’s a bit of a premium to get a better screen and more ports.
Since I haven’t upgraded my PC for over a decade, I’m not exactly impressed by most recent releases. However, I’ve had this Apple laptop for a few years and it has exceeded my expectations.
The screen is simply stunning. I’m not typically a fan of bezels, but this is truly something to behold.
The speakers are superb as well. Initially, I thought that the tinny effects were due to the ambient noise, but after listening to a few songs, I’m convinced that the tinniness was due to the recording.
Since I got my computer a few weeks back, it’s been nothing but fast. If you’re a casual user who wants a machine that will last for a long time, this is the one.
In this review, I am focusing on people who are thinking about jumping from the 13-inch MacBook Pro to the 14-inch MacBook Pro.
The screen size is 1″, which is a big difference from the 15″ model. It’s also a sweet spot for someone who wants a larger screen than the 16″ model.
Both the new 14″ and 16″ MacBooks adopt a thicker chassis, which means they’re more rounded and have a flat front panel. This design trend is still very modern and sleek.
On the form factor front, it looks pretty high-end, but I can also see people thinking that it looks dated. I personally liked the more rounded look, though I will have to see how people use it. Another thing I liked about the design was moving the “Macbook Pro” branding to the bottom of the casing, which I think makes it cleaner overall.
My 13″ M1 Pro has been replaced by the M1 Max, and it’s doing well in most applications. However, I would still say that these programs are not super intensive.
For everyday use, the screen is the best in the industry. Its 120Hz refresh rate is what I waited for on the iPhone, and it’s already implemented on the new MacBook Pro models.
My 13″ M1 did what I needed, but I’m also someone who wanted a slightly bigger screen. The M1 Max is a good option if you’re looking for a more powerful processor.
MacBook Pro 13-inch (2020)

- Tenth-generation quad-core Intel Core i5 processor
- Brilliant Retina display with True Tone technology
- Backlit Magic Keyboard
- Touch Bar and Touch ID
- Intel Iris Plus Graphics
The latest version of the MacBook Pro, which came out in 2020, features an M1 processor and removable fan vents. While the Air and the Pro share the same processor, they have different design.
Since the M1 chip is faster than the previous generation’s iteration, it’s best to rewritten your software to take advantage of its new features. Fortunately, Apple’s latest version of Rosetta 2 can run smoothly with the new processor.
The Apple Touch Bar is officially the last Pro to have it. It’s not as useful as everyone thinks it is, and it’s usually not used as often as people would like it to be.
Since the Apple MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro are both close in price, many people might be tempted to get the Air over the Pro. But, if you’re a real power user, the new 14-inch Pro is the best option.
I needed a laptop that could handle all my tasks in addition to creative work. This laptop did exactly that.
I also wanted a laptop that could sync with my phone. The Surface Pro 4 is one of the best options I’ve tried so far. Its screen is also one of the best I’ve seen.
I had a 2019 entry level model of the Mac Pro 13 with 2 ports, but I quickly returned it due to its limitations. The performance was not my favorite, and the butterfly keyboard was also not my favorite.
So far, I have been very impressed with the performance of the MacBook Pro. It is my favorite laptop to use since it works so well with other devices I have. One thing that I could nitpick is that it still feels expensive for the features that it has, but hey, hey, it’s a great deal.
This is my first mac computer and I couldn’t be more pleased with it. The quality and feel is amazing and it works seamlessly.
